The inspiration for The Whitney House originated at a home on Whitney Avenue in Worthington, Ohio. Large family gatherings were filled with delicious food and cocktails prepared with love and wonderful memories were made. Lorraine, or Mimi as she became known, personified hospitality, enthusiasm and joy. She made every visit to her house on Whitney feel like a special occasion. Today, The Whitney House is a shared place to gather with family and friends to enjoy thoughtfully prepared food, great wine and crafted cocktails in a comfortable, warm and welcoming setting.
